Run N’ Fly

Run N' Fly

As vozes femininas criam um poderoso gancho com a letra de Lafer: “It’s delight, it’s delight, baby/Life is the riff on my mind”.

you’ll bear a crown and cry

it’s delight, it’s delight
it’s delight, it’s delight, baby
life is the riff on my mind

we hang, we dance
it makes me feel happy with you
we hang, we dance

she runs and she stands by
she clings to my hands, shy

she turns me out

free my body, call me coffy

and i have to say goodbye

no one let me cry
nowhere to hide inside

5. Brenda (Sandro Albert, Manu Lafer)
you’ll understand her
she plans as she expands over me
you’ll understand her needs
she’ll always take care of me

beeing raised as an orphan kid
she outdid, poor lonely little breed
she’s an independent soul
she tells herself
she swears that she’s a real diamond

respect for me! respect for me! respect
for me!
(her story)

6. Stella (Sandro Albert, Manu Lafer )
half a billion of stars
can you call her name?
can you find the sculptor?

half a billion of stars
can you be the same?
be my constellation?

half a billion of terabytes
on my mind
for her brain to stick to

half a billion of terabytes
will they say
could it be the time
for me and you?

stella, stella, stella, stella, stay
stella, stella, stella, stella, stay
till the milky way strays

stella, stella, stella, stella, stay
roll your eyes and shine them

stella, stella, stella, stella, stay
till the milky way strays

7. Maeve (Sandro Albert, Manu Lafer)
taste her body
her name is still the same in her dimension
she shows and passes out!
everybody ‘s love,
she’s got a train to catch her joe to go
dash upon the world

feeding her brains
her lips kiss my body burned inflamed
her reverie steals her chills away
bro, she’s to blame
told’y’a her feelings
are always the same
iron, chips and fame, fame

always, always will she beat her action?
a snazzy, sassy, rakish ship
always, always will she beat her fraction?
in other ways to be

she’s my raquel

she’s ten and tantalizing

please…so fine!

9. Evangeline (Sandro Albert, Manu Lafer)
evangeline, she’s my babe
evangeline shields my son
evangeline shells the fading
evangeline sheds the sun

she’s way resplendent
she blurs the glow
she drives me crazy
she makes me whole

i’m thinking about my babe
i’m thinking about my son
i’m thinking about her fading
i’m thinking about the sun

she’s way resplendent
she blurs the glow
she drives me crazy
she makes me whole

over the sea we fly again
over the sea we go there

riding
riding with me
you have tacked the boat
your petals go forth
our children glow, and i see

you can travel time
your freckles go rhyme
your echos survive
as in tandem we break
and together

10. Jennifer (Sandro Albert, Manu Lafer)
jenn is my lover
do i feel fine, girl?
over my shoulder
she means to hide

jenn is my lover
gives me a sign, girl
she’s under cover
stays on my mind

i’m so in love
she’s my valentine
jenn is my lover
and my life

11. Roberta (Sandro Albert, Manu Lafer)
indoors it never gets late
the dawn replaced the night
it’s sunday and we live again
your cradle spreads across gotham’s sky

roberta, temptation
a rap, a rhyme, no!
roberta, temptation
night and day

indoors it never gets late
the dawn replaced the sunday night
when nothing gets on our way
your cradle spreads across gotham’s sky

roberta, temptation
a rap, a rhyme, no!
roberta, temptation
night and day

that’s the way that you sway with your body
that’s the way that you say with your body
that’s the way, that’s the way
the way, the way

reaching the top from the ground
reaching the stars through the sound
reaching the top from the ground
reaching the stars

12. Lynda (Sandro Albert, Manu Lafer)
they hired me in dire need
i was sired to fight and kick
so i do what they want me to
didn’t they know that i resist?

no matter what they throw at me
oh! didn’t they hate it?
no matter men seem to threaten me
i don’t mind loving all and their creator

power of the nations!
soul generations!
no matter if they stay or they go

she’s after her life and dreams
she never shouts and she always sings
she only does what they want her to
she’s an anarchist beauty queen

no matter what they throw at me
oh! didn’t they hate her?
no matter men seem to threaten me
i don’t mind loving all and their creator
power of the nations!
soul generations!
no matter if they stay or they go
